Week 2 Reading
So i'm not sure exactly what i'm supposed to be writing here...this is my first blog post. I read the chapters and found that most of the things the chapters dealt with, i'd already learned in the past from personal study and other college classes. Most of the terms are pretty straight forward anyway. The title "interactive media architect" congers a pretty accurate image of what the job entails. But, as the idiom says, "repitition is the mother of learning", and i suppose it was good to acquaint myself with the terms again.

I wasn't as familiar with some of the terms so it's nice to have Jake in the class so I can turn to him for help if I don't quite understand.
ReplyDeleteI agree that most of the terms are pretty straight forward, but it's nice to have definitions in case we forget something!
ReplyDeleteHA! Rosie, don't take too much comfort in the fact that i'm in the class =) i know a few terms in the first chapters but i'm certainly no tech guru.
ReplyDeletehello jake, i agree with you. most of the terms are pretty straightforward. in some cases, they may seem unfamiliar at first but since we've been exposed to online interactivity for so long, we recognize them right away as both definition in theory and in practice are verbally explained in our readings. good to know that garrand's text help us in that respect! good luck with your personal journey in interactive media writing. =)
