Chapters 17 and 18

I'm so glad that we are finally done with all the case studies! I think that narrative multimedia seems like a lot of fun. But, I think that probably it is a lot harder to write a script for a narrative. There are so many different factors you have to take into consideration. And I also don't really see why simulations and worlds are not considered narratives. It also seems like it would be hard to present the exposition well in a narrative.

  1. Actually there are more case studies, such as in chapters 20 and 21. :)

  2. Haha, Robert is correct my dear, it's only a breif hiatus from the case studies. They'll be back soon enough.

  3. hey guys, now i know how you actually feel about the case studies / sample projects! you seem to "love" them with a passion, haha! (jk).

readings for informational projects are much more detailed and has more quantity, actually, but for narrative projects, we only have 4 in total. lia, you're right: i find narrative proejcts more interesting, but much harder to write (you need to be really creative/imaginative to do so).

TIP: try to tap into your story-telling techniques and make it more 'interactive' by providing more options for the player. =)
